Our frangipani flower absolute has a heavy, sweet floral, touch of fruit aroma when diluted. Smelling this absolute straight out of the bottle will not do it justice. This absolute is fluid and more workable than the thick and waxy plumeria alba we have carried in the past. This is a natural ingredient and does not smell like a perfumed fragrance oil.
It is generally thought that frangipanis (plumerias) are native to South & Central America although some reports claim they are native to the Caribbean and were taken to the Americas by Spanish priests.
